Yesterday this girl said that she loves Jazz and Classical .... Let that sink in..... Jazz and Classical First of all, I do not know what it is with these cultured Americans and always putting their Jazz in the same category, in the same rank as classical music. They love their Frank Sinatra and their Louis Armstrong. Who do they think they are when they put these entertainers on the same ranks as Mozart, Bach and the geniuses that have dominated 500 years of European music? It is absurd. I guess this is why they call it Classical Music As if what? As if it was just a genre That classical music is just another CD aisle, another radio station, something which is nice to hear and is to be associated with fine dining and important ceremonies. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the mindless driveling of the masses. Who, if we look back at our history, only had the opportunity to know the works of the great masters due to constant incorporation of their music in television cartoons and other frivolities. The masses said to themselves What are these orchestral songs? These st violins and loud horns? It is an older music, the music of previous centuries! Let us categorize these centuries and label them as Classical Music That would be easy to market and distribute. The masses were always vulgar when it comes to music. Especially the dilettantic bourgeoisie. Go to one of these society events or wine tastings, they are all there!
I love the Beatles, they are my vorite band. All of their songs and albums are amazing, especially Rubber Soul. However, the Rolling Stones have only made three songs that I really like. All in all, the Beatles are superior to me. Way more superior.
